Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Nōvyn platform, website, and related services (the "Service"). The Service is provided by Nōvyn LLC, an Arizona limited liability company.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Nōvyn is a business-to-business tool intended for event professionals and businesses. You may use the Service only for business purposes related to planning and managing events.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these terms.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information when you register.

Notify us promptly at hello@novyn.app if you believe your account has been compromised or used without permission. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe your account is being misused.

Paid plans are billed through Stripe, our payment processor. The current founding-member rates are $49 per month or $469 per year. Prices may change for new subscribers, but any change will not affect your current billing period.

We offer a 14-day free trial. Your trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends. You can cancel anytime in Settings, then Subscription. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period.

We do not issue refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Some users receive free access to the Service through the Nōvyn beta program for a limited time. Beta access may be changed, limited, or ended at any time.

Beta features may be added, changed, or removed as we build the product. Your feedback helps shape the Service, but nothing in the beta program creates a guarantee of any specific feature or pricing.

You own the data you create in Nōvyn and the client and event data you upload. Nōvyn does not claim ownership of your data.

You grant Nōvyn a limited license to host, store, and process your data only as needed to provide the Service to you. We do not use your data to train models or sell it to third parties.

You can request an export of your data at any time by contacting hello@novyn.app. We will provide your data in a reasonable, usable format.

You agree not to use the Service to break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or interfere with the Service. This includes not uploading content you do not have the right to upload, not attempting to access data that is not yours, and not disrupting or reverse-engineering the Service.

We may remove content or suspend access that violates these rules or that we believe is harmful to the Service or other users.

The Service integrates with third-party services, including Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in, and email delivery providers. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and they process data according to those terms.

We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their agreements.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep it running but do not guarantee any specific uptime or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Scheduled maintenance, updates, and events outside our control may cause temporary downtime.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nōvyn LLC and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You agree to indemnify and hold Nōvyn LLC harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

You can stop using the Service and cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we stop offering the Service.

On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Your data remains available for export for a reasonable period, after which we may delete it according to our retention practices.

We may update these terms from time to time. We will provide notice of material changes, such as by email or a notice in the Service. Your continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
